Being Ward Missionaries

As many of you know, we are ward missionaries. Basically this means we help the missionaries with visits and exchanges, and visit ward members to get them excited and involved in missionary work. Last Sunday, October 30, the Elders asked us to take 4 investigators to church. It turned out they were 4 little girls: ages 7 through 11. They loved church and talked about it all the way home. So last night, the missionaries called to say that those girls wanted to go again, and some of their other family members wanted to go. In fact, so many that they had to borrow a van from someone. Could Ben be chaufer? It ended up that 13 people came! They were 15 minutes late for church (Ben says they were still doing their hair when he went to pick them up) and it was cool to watch the missionaries lead in all 13 people up to the front row, while the whole congregation watched and looked amazed.

The grandma of the family came, her two daughters, and her daughters' children (10 total). They all live in one house together. The two husbands and one brother didn't come to church.

They don't have a car at all, which is why we are driving. Anyway, they all loved church today and had lots of fun, and we kind of expect to see them again next week.

Wow, that is exciting! I hope that they really are interested in the church and keep coming!
